Simple Present Tense Bentuk Kalimat Simple Present sering juga disebut sebagai Present Tense. Kalimat ini digunakan untuk menggambarkan suatu kegiatan yang merupakan kebiasaan (habit). Selain itu Kalimat Simple Present digunakan juga untuk menunjukan suatu peristiwa yang berlangsung terus – menerus atau disebut juga sebagai peristiwa yang Eternal Truth. Formula : (+) S + Verb 1 (+ s/es) + Object (-) S + do/does + not + Verb 1 + Object (?) Do / Does + S + Verb 1 + Object? (+) S + to be (is/am/are) + Adjective/Noun (-) S + to be (is/am/are) + not + Adjective/Noun (?) To be (is/am/are) + S + Adjective/Noun Example: Indonesian People eat rice (habit) Water flows into the lower place (Eternal Truth) The sunsets in the West (Eternal Truth) (+) I use social media (-) I don’t use social media (?)
